    The Beaux and Belles of the East Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America,  

     Inc. are young men and women who consistently demonstrate that they are strong in 

     character and  powerful in principle. They are of high moral character and are respectful

     of the ideas and opinions of others. This year’s participants will possess strong

     leadership skills and are honest and trustworthy.


     The Ball is a celebration of the achievements of young African American Men and

     Women who are high school juniors and seniors.  These young adults represent a

     select few of the many candidates nominated to be honored at the Ball for 2016-2017.  

     Each beau and belle are chosen in recognition of their demonstrated achievements in

     academics, sports, the arts, community and church involvement, and their overall

     commitment to the advancement of African Americans.  In addition, all participants

     must be college bound

     A portion of the proceeds from the ball  will be donated to the Jack and Jill of America,

     Inc. Foundation. The Foundation’s goal is to initiate studies and programs that enhance

     children’s existing academic skills and remove barriers to their continued personal

     growth and social development.  Event revenues will also be earmarked for scholarships

     to deserving recipients through their respective schools, churches, community agencies,

Beaux and Belles:

       We are now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Beautillion/Cotillion program. 

       This opportunity is open to students in grades 11th -12th, who are in good

       academic standing.  Participants will be given the opportunity to participate in

       various workshops, numerous community service activities, self-awareness,

       personal growth, team building, fiscal responsibility, educational and cultural 



       Our  goal is to develop leadership skills, define the participant's potential and self-

      worth and enhance their social graces.  The program concludes with a Ball in the 

      winter of  2017 where the participants will be formally introduced to the community.
